Tom Arstingstall

Senior Associate – Advisory Services
Pavilion Alternatives Group, LLC (Sacramento)

Mr. Arstingstall joined LP Capital Advisors in 2013, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2014 and merged with Altius Associates to become Pavilion Alternatives Group in 2016. He has been working in the financial services industry since 2011. Mr. Arstingstall is involved in a broad range of activities across the investment, sourcing, screening and due diligences processes, and also assists the Risk Management team in various capacities. Previously, Mr. Arstingstall worked as a Senior Associate with Triage Consulting Group, a hospital revenue cycle management advisory firm. Mr. Arstingstall holds a BS in Finance and Accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.



Chason Beggerow

Managing Director – Advisory Services
Pavilion Alternatives Group, LLC  (Richmond)

Mr. Beggerow has been in the financial services industry since 1990case, focusing on private equity and private markets since 1995. He joined Altius Associates in 2007, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LyouP Capital Advisors to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. Mr. Beggerow leads Pavilion’s secondary and co-investment efforts and serves as a generalist for primary U.S. investments. In addition, Mr. Beggerow is responsible for providing a broad range of private equity advisory services and serves as the lead consultant on several of Pavilion’s client accounts. Previously, Mr. Beggerow worked for several years in Mergers and Acquisitions, investment banking, and venture capital fundraising. He was Director of Business Development at Tredegar Corporation, and Chief Financial Officer at Soane Labs LLP. He also served as Vice President at Harris Williams & Co after beginning his career at Nationsbank (now Bank of America). Mr. Beggerow holds an MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia.



Dr. William (Billy) Charlton, CFA®

Managing Director & Head of Global Research & Analytics

Dr. Charlton has been in the financial services industry since 2000 and joined Altius Associates in 2013, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. Dr. Charlton leads Pavilion’s Global Research & Analytics team which contributes valuable market research and thought leadership to clients and the industry at large. Previously, Dr. Charlton was a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Texas at Austin, where he was also Associate Director of the Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst Center for Private Equity Finance. He taught courses in investments, quantitative investments, entrepreneurial finance, and the capstone case course in the MBA program Financial Strategies in Private Equity. Prior to that, Dr. Charlton served as Managing Partner at specialist consultants BH Equity Research in San Jose, CA where he was also the Managing Director & Founder of Context Private Equity Alpha, a fund of funds manager. In 2001 he received tenure as an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Richmond. Dr. Charlton holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from St. Mary’s University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a CFA® charterholder.



Charles Chiang

Director – Advisory Services
Pavilion Alternatives Group (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.

Mr. Chiang has been in the financial services industry since 2006, focusing on private equity since 2009. He joined Altius Associates in 2014, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. Mr. Chiang is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and monitoring private equity funds in Asia. Mr. Chiang is also a member of the private debt team, tracking private debt opportunities in Asia Pacific. Previously, Mr. Chiang worked for Capital Dynamics as an Associate, where he evaluated private market fund investment opportunities in Asia Pacific, as well as monitored existing fund portfolios for the fund of fund and clients. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Vice President in Alternative Investment Capital, where he reviewed and analyzed prospective private equity and venture capital fund investment opportunities in Asia Pacific. Mr. Chiang also worked at Taishin International Bank (Taiwan) and Ernst & Young (Taiwan), where he engaged in corporate banking and auditing respectively. Mr. Chiang holds a BBA in Accounting and a BA in English Literatures from the National Taiwan University. He also received an MBA in International Business from International University of Japan. Mr. Chiang is fluent in English, Mandarin and Japanese.



Nick Coogan

Senior Associate – Risk Management

Mr. Coogan has been in the financial services industry since 2013 and joined Altius Associates in 2014, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors to become Pavilion Alternatives Group.  Mr. Coogan assists in the monitoring and reporting of clients’ fund investments in both the European and U.S. regions. Previously, Mr. Coogan worked at Barclays Capital and had various reporting responsibilities within equity derivatives. Prior to that, he undertook an internship at Brewin Dolphin. Mr. Coogan has a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Kent. He holds an Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a Level 2 CFA® candidate.



Philip Coté, CFA®, FRM

Director – Advisory Services

Mr. Coté joined Pavilion in 2011 and has been in the financial services industry since 2002, focusing on private markets and hedge funds since 2011 and private equity since 2014. Mr. Coté works with several clients on their real estate, infrastructure and energy portfolios and is involved with conducting due diligence on a broad range of private markets strategies. Previously, Mr. Coté worked at CIBC Asset Management as a Consultant for Mutual Fund Product Development & Management. He also previously worked for National Bank Direct Brokerage as a Senior Product Analyst. Mr. Coté holds a BComm in Finance from the John Molson School of Business and a Graduate Certificate, Treasury/Finance from McGill University. He was awarded the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation in 2004 and is a CFA® charterholder. Mr. Coté is fluent in French.



Dan Covich, CFA®, CAIA®, FRM

Director – Global Research & Analytics

Mr. Covich has been in the financial services industry since 2006 and joined Jeffrey Slocum & Associates 2013, which was then acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016. Mr. Covich is responsible for assessing illiquid alternatives, private debt, hedge fund strategies and investment opportunity sets for institutional clients through independent research, performance monitoring, and regular meetings and communications with portfolio managers and analysts. He is responsible for building and maintaining proprietary models across the research platform that calculate performance attribution for funds, monitor market and economic trends, and report on and optimize portfolios using risk, financial, and statistical measures. Previously, Mr. Covich worked as an investment strategist for the general account portfolios of the Allianz insurance companies in North America. Prior to this, he worked at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital as a portfolio analyst and risk consultant in the Index, Portfolio, and Risk Solutions team. Mr. Covich earned his B.S.B.A. in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis.



Donn Cox

President & Managing Director

Mr. Cox has been in the financial services industry since 1990, focusing on private equity and private markets since 1998. Mr. Cox founded LP Capital Advisors in 2004, which was then acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2014 and merged with Altius Associates Ltd. in 2016 to form Pavilion Alternatives Group. Mr. Cox oversees all aspects of Pavilion’s alternative asset advisory services. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, Mr. Cox serves as the lead consultant to several of Pavilion’s large U.S. clients, as well as clients in Canada, and is actively involved in Pavilion’s research efforts for Asia and Emerging Markets managers. Previously, Mr. Cox worked at State Street Corporation providing investment consulting services to institutional investors in private equity. Prior to joining State Street, Mr. Cox worked at KPMG LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP providing transaction advisory and assurance services, including financial and operational due diligence and analysis on a broad range of companies and transaction types. Mr. Cox received a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Gonzaga University and is a CPA (inactive).



Alex Da Costa

Managing Director & Head of Hedge Fund Advisory Services

Mr. Da Costa joined Pavilion in 2012 and has been developing customized discretionary and non-discretionary hedge fund solutions for clients since 1999. Mr. Da Costa leads the Hedge Fund Advisory team, which involves performing market research, analyzing specific investment opportunities and assisting clients in the development of their Hedge Fund portfolios. Previously, Mr. Da Costa co-founded his own business, SilverStreet Capital LLP where he managed funds of hedge funds and advised the firm’s institutional clients on their hedge fund portfolios. Prior to that he was the Head of Portfolio Construction in the Alternative Investment Group at ABN AMRO Asset Management where he was one of the Portfolio Managers responsible for managing the firm’s funds of hedge funds and institutional advisory mandates. Mr. Da Costa holds an MSc in Finance from Reading University (UK), ISMA Centre and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Southampton University (UK).



Gurjeet Dosanjh

Mr. Dosanjh has been in the financial services industry since 2002. He joined LP Capital Advisors in 2010, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2014 and merged with Altius Associates Ltd. in 2016 to form Pavilion Alternatives Group. Mr. Dosanjh is the head of manager research for private markets and is responsible for leading the sourcing and screening process for fund opportunities. Previously, Mr. Dosanjh worked at HSBC Investment Bank in New York and London in the Mergers and Acquisitions group. Mr. Dosanjh’s transaction experience includes leveraged buyouts, cross-border acquisitions, sell-sides, initial public offerings and secondary listings for companies in the consumer, industrials and infrastructure sectors. Mr. Dosanjh received a BS in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Dosanjh is fluent in Punjabi.



Allyson Eisenhower, CFA®

Ms. Eisenhower joined Pavilion in 2017 and has been in the financial services industry since 2005. Ms. Eisenhower is responsible for contributing to all aspects of the manager due diligence process, including on-site meetings and conference calls with managers, quantitative and qualitative evaluation of managers with respect to strategy, performance, investment team, and organizational factors, and preparing investment recommendation materials. Previously, Ms. Eisenhower worked at Empirical Wealth Management. Prior to that she worked at Charles Schwab, Franklin Templeton and Navellier Investments. Ms. Eisenhower has a BA in Finance from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is a CFA® charterholder.



Christopher Farrington, CAIA®

Mr. Farrington has been in the financial services industry since 1992, focusing on private equity since 2000 and private markets since 1998. He joined LP Capital Advisors in 2013, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2014 and merged with Altius Associates Ltd. in 2016 to form Pavilion Alternatives Group. Mr. Farrington is responsible for providing a broad range of private equity advisory services and serves as the lead consultant on several U.S. client accounts. In addition to his client service responsibilities, Mr. Farrington assists with Pavilion’s emerging manager and European manager research efforts. Previously, Mr. Farrington worked as a Senior Investment Professional at Centinela Capital Partners, an emerging manager-focused firm, where he was responsible for sourcing, screening and evaluating fund and co-investment opportunities across a range of strategies and industries. Prior to that, Mr. Farrington managed the Domestic Private Equity program at MetLife Investments. Prior to MetLife, Mr. Farrington worked in Leveraged Finance at CIBC World Markets and Fleet Bank and as an Analyst at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Farrington received a BA in Economics from Duke University and a MIA with a concentration in International Finance from Columbia University.



Jim Fisher, CFA®, CAIA®

Director – Global Research & Analytics

Mr. Fisher joined Jeffrey Slocum & Associates in 2011; the alternatives division of the Slocum business was combined with Pavilion Alternative Group LLC’s in 2016. Mr. Fisher conducts due diligence on direct hedge fund and private capital managers, and provides research and portfolio construction guidance to clients across Pavilion Advisory Group®. Previously, Mr. Fisher spent a year on the client service side, as an Investment Analyst. Mr. Fisher received his BA in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa. He is a CFA® charterholder and a CAIA® charterholder.



Daniel Fuller

Director – Advisory Services

Mr. Fuller joined LP Capital Advisors in 2008, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2014 and merged with Altius Associates in 2016. He has been in the financial services industry since 2003. Mr. Fuller serves on several client teams providing assistance with investment strategy and pacing, market research, investment sourcing and screening and due diligence on fund investments, co-investments and secondary purchase and sale opportunities. In addition to his client service responsibilities, Mr. Fuller is involved in Pavilion’s research on venture capital, growth equity and buyout managers. Previously, Mr. Fuller worked as an Associate in the merger and acquisitions unit of a large insurance company and also held various positions with two firms providing credit in the real estate space. Mr. Fuller earned his MS in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of the Pacific.



Sam Gibbens

Mr. Gibbens joined Pavilion in 2017 and has been in the financial services industry since 2008, with experience spanning from private capital, investment banking, and corporate finance. Mr. Gibbens has been involved with private markets and private equity transactions in some capacity since 2012. At Pavilion, he focuses on providing advisory services relating to private equity, private debt, real asset, and venture capital fund investments. Previously, Mr. Gibbens was an Investment Banker at Lazard where he focused on merger and acquisition advisory for middle market food and agriculture companies. Prior to that, he spent several years at ConAgra Brands working within their corporate strategy and development group. Mr. Gibbens has a dual MBA and MS in Finance from the Heider College of Business at Creighton University, and a BA in Economics from St. Olaf College.



Wen Ting Geok

Ms. Geok has been working in the financial services industry since 2008, focusing on private equity since 2013. She joined Altius Associates in 2015, which was then acquired by Pavilion in 2016.  Ms. Geok is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and monitoring private equity investment opportunities across Asia-Pacific. Previously, Ms. Geok was a Senior Associate in Aten Holdings, an Indian-focused mezzanine fund and debt advisory firm, where she assisted in fundraising and advised on structured debt transactions. Prior to that, she worked in investment banking and corporate finance at Citi, SAC Capital and PwC. Ms. Geok holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BAcc from Nanyang Technological University. Ms. Geok is fluent in English and Mandarin.



John Hess

Head of Global Strategic Initiatives

Mr. Hess has been in the financial services industry since 1975, focusing on private equity and private markets since 1985.  Mr. Hess co-founded Altius Associates Limited and its parent, Altius Holdings Limited in 1999, which was then acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors in 2016 to form Pavilion Alternatives Group. He has been in the financial services industry since 1975, focusing on private equity and private markets since 1985. Mr. Hess oversees development and implementation of Pavilion’s global strategy. He also contributes to the development of global strategy and positioning of Pavilion Financial Corporation’s other businesses. When co-founding Altius Associates, Mr. Hess served as Chief Executive Officer, and then as its Executive Chairman. Mr. Hess’s experience in private markets ranges from working with large institutional investors to create private market programs, including providing advice on private market asset allocation and manager selection. He has established strong relationships with institutional investors as well as with fund managers across Europe, the U.S., the Nordic region, and Asia-Pacific. Previously, Mr. Hess was a founding Director of Helix Associates Limited. Prior to that, he was a Director at Berkeley Govett International Ltd. and Managing Director and Head of European private equity placement at Continental Bank N.A. He also held positions at J. Henry Schroder Wagg Ltd., Cresap, McCormick and Paget (London), Citibank N.A. (United Arab Emirates) and the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Hess has a BA in German from St. Lawrence University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Teaching Fellow in the Multinational Enterprise Unit. Mr. Hess is fluent in German.



Taylor Irvin, CAIA®

Mr. Irvin joined Altius Associates in 2012, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. Mr. Irvin is responsible for investments in the U.S. and conducts research on the private equity market. He previously worked on the Business Development team where he assisted in the RFP process and created marketing documentation. Previously, Mr. Irvin held a position with the Southeastern Institute of Research where he assisted with market research and consulting projects for various clients. Mr. Irvin holds a BA in History from the University of Virginia and a certificate from the McIntire Business Institute



De’Von Jones

Senior Associate – Advisory Services

Mr. Jones joined Pavilion in 2018 and has been in the financial services industry since 2010, focusing on private equity and private markets since 2018. He is responsible for client advisory services, including due diligence, client servicing, and portfolio monitoring. Previously, Mr. Jones worked at FBR Capital Markets in equity research covering mostly mid cap to small cap banks and thrifts. Prior to that, Mr. Jones worked at Wellington Management company focusing on fixed income pricing. Additionally, he spent four years at PwC in their Structured Products and Real Estate group performing independent valuations of fixed income securities for audit clients. Mr. Jones holds an BBA in Finance from James Madison University.



Don Kim

Mr. Kim joined LP Capital Advisors in 2010, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2014 and merged with Altius Associates to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. He has been in the financial services industry since 2004, focusing on alternative assets since 2008. Mr. Kim oversees the Risk Management team that is responsible for performance reporting, investment analytics, and market research. Previously, Mr. Kim spent a year at Pantera Capital Management, a global macro hedge fund, where he worked in middle office operations. Prior to that, he spent three years at State Street Investment Manager Solutions in the trade management division. Mr. Kim received a BA in Economics with a minor in Education from the University of California, Irvine.



Raelan Lambert

Managing Director – Advisory Services

Ms. Lambert has been in the financial services industry since 1998, focusing on private equity and private markets since 2005.  Ms. Lambert joined LP Capital Advisors in 2005, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2014 and merged with Altius Associates in 2016 to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. She has been in the financial services industry since 1998, focusing on private equity and private markets since 2005. Ms. Lambert serves as the lead consultant for several clients in North America and advises others globally. Ms. Lambert has developed and delivered specialized trainings on private debt for clients, contributed to portfolio construction, and remains involved in strategic advisory work and due diligence on private debt and other opportunities. Previously, Ms. Lambert was located in New York where she worked at DoubleClick, a division of Google, and focused on developing new relationships with financial institutions. Prior to that, Ms. Lambert was a consultant in American Express’ strategic technology relationships advisory group, which worked directly with the firm’s C-level executives and all divisions of the firm and its top technology partners. Ms. Lambert started her career at Goldman Sachs in the finance and wealth management divisions, including assignments in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Ms. Lambert received a BA in French Language and Literature from the University of Virginia. Ms. Lambert is fluent in French.



Mathieu Larochelle, CFA®, CAIA®

Director – Global Research & Analytics

Mr. Larochelle joined Pavilion in 2013 and has been in the financial services industry since 2002, focusing on hedge funds since 2007. Mr. Larochelle is on the research team for alternative investments with an emphasis on hedge funds. His responsibilities include manager sourcing, due diligence, portfolio construction, and risk monitoring. Previously, Mr. Larochelle was a Manager, Due Diligence, for Castle Hall Alternatives, a Montréal-based consulting firm focused on providing institutional investors with operational due diligence services on alternative asset managers worldwide, including the review of hedge, private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds. Prior to that, Mr. Larochelle worked at RBC Direct Investing, RBC’s direct brokerage business, where his responsibilities included trade and account maintenance services, as well as relationship management to RBC’s high net worth clientele. Mr. Larochelle has a BComm from Concordia University. Mr. Larochelle is a CFA® charterholder. Mr. Larochelle is fluent in French and proficient in German and Spanish.



Doug Moore

Managing Director & Head of Business Development

Mr. Moore has been in the financial services industry since 1988, focusing on hedge funds since 1990, private markets since 2007, and private equity since 2012.  Mr. Moore joined Altius Associates in 2012, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors in 2016 to form Pavilion Alternatives Group. He has been in the financial services industry since 1988, focusing on hedge funds since 1990, private markets since 2007, and private equity since 2012. Mr. Moore leads our Business Development team and is responsible for client relationships and directing new business opportunities. Previously, Mr. Moore worked at Agecroft Partners where he was a Managing Director, responsible for marketing to institutional investors in the U.S. and Europe on behalf of a small group of alternative investment managers. Prior to that he worked in institutional sales and trading roles for a variety of investment banking firms, including R6 Capital Group, Chesapeake Capital and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Moore has a BS in Finance from Texas A&M University. Mr. Moore is fluent in Spanish.



Nicola Patel

Associate Director – Risk Management

Ms. Patel joined Altius Associates in 2007, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. Ms. Patel leads the firm’s fund administration efforts for clients’ separate account vehicles and Pavilion’s fund of funds. Ms. Patel first started working in private equity when she joined Altius Associates for a year-long internship in 2005-2006, assisting in Business Development projects. Upon graduating in 2007, she returned in a permanent position and spent time on both the Business Development and Advisory teams before leading the fund administration efforts from 2011. Ms. Patel has a BSc (Hons) in Business and Management (with a concentration in Accounting) from Brunel University.



Stephanie Perry, CPA

Associate Director – Risk Management

Ms. Perry joined Pavilion in 2017 and has been in the financial services industry since 2011, focusing on private equity and private markets since 2011, hedge funds since 2012 and real assets since 2017. Ms. Perry is responsible for executing the delivery of our fee compliance and reporting services and assists with data controls. Previously, Ms. Perry worked at KPMG LLP on various client engagements in alternative assets. Ms. Perry holds a BBA in Accountancy and Theology minor (with honors) from the University of Notre Dame and is a CPA (Illinois).



Peter Pfister

Mr. Pfister has been in private equity since 2001, covering the Asia-Pacific region since 2005. He joined Altius Associates in 2013, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. Mr. Pfister is responsible for overseeing Asia-Pacific due diligence, research, business development and managing client relationships. He has authored a number of research papers on various topics about the Asia-Pacific private equity market. Previously, Mr. Pfister was Head of Asia-Pacific for Deutsche Bank’s private equity business (DB Private Equity) overseeing investments and business development across the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to that, he was Vice President for LGT Capital Partners where he focused on private equity investments and business development in Europe and helped develop the firms’ marketing and client services activities. Before joining LGT, he worked for Mettler-Toledo in business development covering Emerging Markets and for Caterpillar in corporate planning and product marketing. Mr. Pfister holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and a MBA from IMD. Mr. Pfister is fluent in English, French and German.



Hana Poncova

Ms. Poncova joined Pavilion in 2017 and has been in the financial services industry since 2007, focusing on private equity and private markets since 2009, hedge funds since 2007 and real assets since 2011. Ms. Poncova is responsible for performance reporting, investment analytics and market research. Previously, Ms. Poncova worked on Pantheon’s London client reporting team and progressed through the ranks from Analyst to Head of Department. Prior to this she worked for a hedge fund as a Fund Administrator. Ms. Poncova holds a First Class BA (Hons) in Business Studies (Finance) from London South Bank University. Ms. Poncova is fluent in Czech.



Richard Pugmire, CFA®

Mr. Pugmire has been in the financial services industry since 2000, working on private equity and private markets since 2003, real assets since 2008 and hedge funds since 2006. He joined LP Capital Advisors in 2008, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2014 and merged with Altius Associates to become Pavilion Alternatives Group in 2016. Mr. Pugmire serves as the lead consultant for several clients and is involved with the research and due diligence efforts related to managers focused on a broad range of private markets strategies. Previously, Mr. Pugmire worked at Ford Motor Company, where he focused on pension asset management within the treasury group. Prior to that, Mr. Pugmire worked at the University Venture Fund evaluating venture capital investments, and Harris Investor Services evaluating venture capital investments. Mr. Pugmire holds an MBA and a BS in Finance (with honors) from the University of Utah and is a CFA® charterholder.



Amy Ridge

Ms. Ridge joined LP Capital Advisors in 2008, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2014 and merged with Altius Associates to become Pavilion Alternatives Group in 2016. She has been in the financial services industry since 2006. Ms. Ridge serves on several client teams providing assistance with investment monitoring and reporting, market research, investment sourcing and screening, and due diligence on fund investments. In addition to her client responsibilities, Ms. Ridge contributes to Pavilion’s research efforts on energy and natural resources managers. Previously, Ms. Ridge was a Senior Analyst at Pacific Corporate Group (now TorreyCove), where she provided investment monitoring and reporting services to clients with a specialty focus on energy. Ms. Ridge received a BS in Business Finance from the University of San Francisco.



Zach Rioux, CFA®

He has been in the financial services industry since 2010. Mr. Rioux is responsible for client advisory services, including sourcing, due diligence, client servicing and portfolio monitoring. Previously, Mr. Rioux worked at Eaton Vance on the Global Fixed Income trading desk, and previously co-founded ThirstD Drink Deliveries, a delivery service based in Hanover, NH. Mr. Rioux holds a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College and is a CFA® charterholder.



Jed Roberts

Mr.Roberts is responsible for periodic performance reporting, pro forma financial statement creation and investment system administration. Previously, Mr. Roberts worked at KPMG LLP. Mr. Roberts holds a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Biola University.



Rhonda Ryan

Ms. Ryan has been working in the international investment industry since 1992, focusing on private equity and private markets since 1997 and real assets and hedge funds since 2001. Ms. Ryan joined Altius Associates in 2013, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. Ms. Ryan leads the EMEA advisory team and oversees manager research in the EMEA region. Previously, Ms. Ryan was Managing Director, Head of Private Funds Group Europe at PineBridge Investments (AIG Investments). Ms. Ryan oversaw a team based in London and Zurich. She invested and managed portfolios in private equity and private debt for both separate account clients and the firm’s fund of funds. Ms. Ryan was also involved in marketing the firm’s products to international clients and was a member of the Board of Directors of PineBridge Investments Europe. Prior to that, Ms. Ryan was Head of Alternative Investments at Insight Investment (the asset management division of HBOS) where she had overall responsibility for the Alternative Investments team and portfolios. Prior to this, she spent a number of years working in Japanese organizations both in the UK and Australia. Ms. Ryan holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and BEcon and BA in Asian Studies from The Australian National University. She also hold an Investment Management Certificate (IMC). Ms. Ryan is fluent in Japanese.



Benjamin Scott

Mr. Scott joined Altius Associates in 2012 which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. He has been in the financial services industry since 2011. Mr. Scott is responsible for the administration of Pavilion’s fund of fund vehicles. He also assists in the monitoring and reporting of clients’ fund investments. Previously, he held an internship at Newedge Group UK as an Equity Settlements Analyst. Mr. Scott holds an Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.



Timothy Spiegel

Mr. Spiegel joined LP Capital Advisors in 2015, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2014 and merged with Altius Associates to become Pavilion Alternatives Group in 2016. Mr. Spiegel is responsible for client advisory services, including due diligence, client servicing, and portfolio monitoring. Previously, Mr. Spiegel worked at Spinnaker Capital, an investment firm that focused primarily on private equity and venture capital. Mr. Spiegel holds a BA from Boston College and an MBA and JD from the University of Florida.



Clete Strak, CAIA®

Mr. Strak joined Jeffrey Slocum & Associates in 2010; the alternatives division of the Slocum business was combined with Pavilion Alternative Group LLC’s in 2016. He has been in the financial services industry since 1994. Mr. Strak manages the operational due diligence team, which performs qualitative assessments on investment managers’ back office operations, accounting, compliance, governance, and information technology systems. Previously, he was an Investment Coordinator with Carval Investors and an Institutional Equity Trader with American Express Financial Services. Mr. Strak holds a BA in Economics from Hamline University. He is a Licensed Series 6 & 7 Securities Representative (inactive).



Tammie Taylor

Associate Director – Risk Management

Ms. Taylor joined Altius Associates in 2011, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. She has been in the financial services industry since 1987. Ms. Taylor assists in the monitoring and reporting of client fund investments primarily in North America and is also involved in the modeling and analysis of client portfolios. Previously, Ms. Taylor was a Financial Support Specialist at Bank of Virginia. Prior to that, she held positions at BB&T, Commerce Bank, and Central Fidelity National Bank.



Jim Treanor

Mr. Treanor joined Jeffrey Slocum & Associates in 2011; the alternatives division of the Slocum business was combined with Pavilion Alternative Group LLC’s in 2016. Mr. Treanor has been in the financial services industry since 1990, focusing on private equity and private markets since 2000 and hedge funds and real assets since 2007. Mr. Treanor leads the North America Advisory Services team overseeing investment sourcing, screening and due diligence efforts as well as the delivery of those services to clients. In addition, Mr. Treanor serves as the lead alternatives consultant for numerous clients and is involved in the evaluation of a broad range of private markets and hedge fund strategies. Previously, Mr. Treanor worked at the Florida State Board of Administration (FSBA), where he led a team that established FSBA’s Private Equity portfolio. An outgrowth of this effort was an assignment to create and manage an opportunistic Strategic Investment Portfolio, comprised of hedge funds, opportunistic debt, infrastructure and other alternative investments. He also contributed to the strategic direction of the entire program’s investments and its annual investment plan. Prior to the FSBA, Mr. Treanor was a Regional Director of Airport Affairs and Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis for Northwest Airlines. Mr. Treanor holds a BA in Computer Science (with honors) from Boston College and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.


Branden Vogel

Allen Waldrop, CFA®, CPA

Mr. Waldrop has been in the financial services industry since 1994, focusing on private equity since 2002. He joined LP Capital Advisors in 2005, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2014 and merged with Altius Associates to become Pavilion Alternatives Group in 2016.  Mr. Waldrop works directly on integrating and operating our global platform. In addition, Mr. Waldrop serves as the lead consultant for several U.S. clients. Previously, Mr. Waldrop spent nine years at KPMG LLP serving institutional investors in private equity, assisting with monitoring private equity investments, analyzing strategic relationships and performing fund, co-investment, and secondary due diligence. Additionally, he served as technical advisor and project manager to the Private Equity Industry Guidelines Group (PEIGG) and also provided education and technical support to the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA). Prior to that, Mr. Waldrop provided audit and transaction advisory services, including financial and operational due diligence and analysis, on a broad range of companies and transaction types. Mr. Waldrop received a BS in Accounting from San Diego State University. He is a CPA (California) and a CFA® charterholder.



Scott Wilkinson

Mr. Wilkinson joined Altius Associates in 2009, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors to become Pavilion Alternatives Group. He has been in the financial services industry since 2005, focusing on private equity and private markets since 2009. Mr. Wilkinson is responsible for covering Pan-European, U.K., Southern Europe and African private equity managers. Additionally, Mr. Wilkinson is a member of the private debt team, tracking to private debt opportunities across the whole of EMEA. Previously, Mr. Wilkinson worked at Alliance Bernstein, Threadneedle and State Street in client services. Prior to that, he worked in financial planning, providing investment and retirement advice, and managing the Australian financial accounts of a Chinese-headquartered Aluminum manufacturer. Mr. Wilkinson holds a BComm in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Wollongong in Australia and an MBA from Durham University with distinction in the UK.  He also holds an Investment Management Certificate.



Schon Williams, CFA

Mr. Williams joined Pavilion in 2018 and has been in the financial services industry since 2006, focusing on private markets since 2016.  Mr. Williams is responsible for covering a wide range of alternative asset classes including private equity, private debt, real assets and hedge funds both in the U.S. and globally.  Functions include portfolio design, research, due diligence, risk management, transaction advisory and other customized solutions. Previously, Mr. Williams was Senior Vice President at BB&T Capital Markets serving as a Senior Equity Research Analyst.  He led a team covering Industrial Machinery stocks across a diverse mix of end markets including agriculture, automotive, construction, energy, food equipment, material handling and metal coatings/fabrication.  He was ranked #2 in Thomson Reuters/Starmine’s 2014 Analyst Awards for Excellence in Earnings Estimates Accuracy for Industrial Machinery and published regularly in Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal and The NY Times.  Previous to this, Mr. Williams was a Senior Consultant with Navigant Consulting focusing on Bankruptcy & Restructuring for public and private entities. Mr. Williams holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business and a BA in both Economics and Government from the University of Virginia. He is a CFA® charterholder.



Jay Yoder, CFA®

Mr. Yoder has been in the financial services industry since 1986, focusing on alternative asset investments since 1994.  Mr. Yoder joined Altius Associates in 2008, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors in 2016 to form Pavilion Alternatives Group. .Mr. Yoder is responsible for sourcing, screening and evaluating investment opportunities in real assets, including energy, infrastructure, timber, and mining. Previously, Mr. Yoder co-founded and managed a Real Assets fund of funds. Prior to that, he managed endowments at Vassar College and Smith College. At both institutions, he wrote new investment policies and implemented modern portfolios with significant allocations to alternative investments. Prior to that, he worked in SEI Corporation’s pension consulting division. He also served on the Board of Trustees at Albright College and chaired its investment subcommittee. Mr. Yoder earned an undergraduate degree from Albright College and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. He is a CFA® charterholder.



Brad Young

Mr. Young has been in the financial services industry since 1985, focusing on private equity, private markets, and real assets since 1996. Mr. Young joined Altius Associates in 2004, which was acquired by Pavilion Financial Corporation in 2016 and merged with LP Capital Advisors Ltd in 2016 to form Pavilion Alternatives Group.  Mr. Young leads our Global Advisory Services team, overseeing all advisory services and working directly with clients and their portfolios. Previously, Mr. Young was Director of Private Equity at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he was one of a three-person team that managed all aspects of the domestic and international private equity program, representing MIT on fund advisory boards. Prior to that, he spent five years at the University of Richmond as Director of Private Investments where he directed all aspects of the domestic private equity portfolio. He also held the position of Trust Officer and Manager for Crestar Bank. Mr. Young holds a BA in History from Hampden-Sydney College and a MBA from Wake Forest University.
